One of our favorite new design trends in wedding papers are the vacation vibes we’re seeing, especially for our destination weddings. Above you see examples of our party packs (see last week’s blog post), all with different weekend party invitations featuring our take on tropical environments.  A focus on traditional watercolor palettes are also a smaller way to bring in a beachy feel.

The misconception that the tropical designs are reserved for more casual affairs is all wrong. Here, for formal wedding invitations, this sophisticated tropical pattern was created for the envelope liner as a compliment to the simplicity of the calligraphy.

For this wedding on Sea Island, GA, which lends itself to a more formal and elegant vibe, subtle hints of tropical was used throughout, like here on the tray liners for serving during cocktail hour.

For this beach wedding in Naples, Florida, a tropical scene depicting the wedding venue was perfect for the invitation backing.  Wedding design by Anna Lucia Events.

For a wedding in one of the most well regarded “tropical” locations, a vintage nod to vacation vibes was a fun cover to the wedding welcome guide. Wedding design by Morgan Events.  A sunset color palette helps drive home the design details.
